R2 was awarded with a gold prize in the Hiiibrand Typography 2016 contest, for the flexible identity of The Form of Form, the 4th edition of the Lisbon Architecture Triennial (Portugal).

The studio was also received a Merit Award for the project Futuro (typographic installation), and three nominations for the exhibition design of Architecture in Competition (Portuguese Architects Association — South Branch, Portugal), and for the identities of the exhibitions Au Sud d'aujourd'hui (Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Paris) and Desire, Tension, Transition (ESAD Idea / Experimental Design Biennial 2015, Portugal).

Hiiibrand is an online platform for the exchange of creative ideas, based in China, which seeks to promote the development of brand design, rewarding excellence in the areas of branding, identity and packaging. This edition of the contest was endorsed by the International Council of Design (ico-D).
