Lizá Ramalho takes part in a series of lectures where internationally acclaimed speakers give a first-hand account of experiences and case studies in different fields of graphic design.
In this lecture, Ramalho focuses on the ways of thinking, methods and processes behind R2’s cross-disciplinary design work. Due to the studio’s close relationship with cultural fields, especially contemporary art, architecture and theatre, the lecture will also focus on R2’s interest in scale and tri-dimensionality, the dominance of different publishing platforms and materials used, and the characteristics of the elements at their disposal that result in differentiating concept-driven projects. The lecture is organised in collaboration with Laus/ADG-FAD.
