Installation «Half-open, open, half-closed, closed» curated by Paulo Cunha e Silva

«Half-open, open, half-closed, closed» was created specifically for the tower of the castle of Guimarães for the Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture. It reflects on the concepts of ‘open’ and ‘closed’, and the possibilities of the boundaries of space in the current context.

The work of R2 is integrated in the exhibition cycle «The Castle in Three Acts: Assault, Deconstruction, Reconstruction». This project, curated by Paulo Cunha e Silva will also show works by Adriana Molder, Ana Pérez-Quiroga, Fernanda Fragateiro, Filipa César, Footsbarn Travelling Theatre, Gabriel Abrantes, IBon Mainar, João Leonardo, João Louro, João Luís Carrilho da Graça, João Onofre, João Pedro do Vale / Nuno Alexandre Ferreira, José Pedro Croft, Julião Sarmento, Miguel Palma, Miguel Vieira Baptista, Rui Chafes e Yonamine.

The installation was inaugurated on April 14.
